Torz are an alien race that land on Craven during the Starfall Festival when a Lavalyte is present! They can be found on all islands, but are drawn to the Grand Vitae in Lucerula.
Torz
Looks & Anatomy
Torz are built to mimic meteors and the like, and their coloring reflects this! Most Torz shells consist of more rocky tones, while their bodies are pale yellows and blues. They are not limited to this, though!
A Torz mainly consists of a soft body and a hard shell that surrounds it! Their face has 5 rounded spikes that extend outwards, and they have small, clawed hands and feet. Their head and legs are very squishy and can easily retract into their rocky shell for travel, sleep, and camouflage.
Their short legs make walking more of an inconvenience, so they can most often just be seen rolling or floating if on land.
A small, bubbling flame functions as a sort of tail, but also serves to propel them forwards in space! It actually feels quite cold to the touch, and won’t harm anything it comes in contact with.
Behavior & Diet
Torz are surprisingly friendly and social, loving to receive attention no matter the source. They aren’t the most loyal of pets and tend to simply wander off if they feel like it to go find a more active area that’ll put them in the spotlight. It’s best to have another pet or energetic Lavaling with them to keep them happy, as they don’t really like to be kept alone.
They don’t seem to need to eat anything, but are drawn to starrixe and can be called over using various fruits.
Reproduction & Offspring
It’s not known how Torz reproduce! There doesn’t seem to be any reason to how they appear — sometimes more are there, sometimes fewer. Additionally, they don't have a "child" stage, or at least any visual indication of age.

Torz can only be obtained during the Starfall Festival from a Fallen Star!
Kryg

Kryg are an alien race that land on Craven during the Starfall Festival when a Lavalyte is present! They can be found on all islands, but are drawn to the Grand Vitae in Lucerula.
Looks & Anatomy
Kryg’s bodies mostly consist of stony colors and patterns, with more colorful designs mimicking natural gem formations decorating the crystals that float around their body! It’s not uncommon for these colorations to be paler than expected, though.
Kryg are smooth, gemlike creatures. Their body is made of a substance reminiscent of polished stone, and their two limbs are detached from the rest of their body, with an indent where they should connect. Crystals are suspended around them on their head, back, and rear, and they have a faint glow to them. They have three eyes on their face that lack sclera, and they have star-shaped pupils. They have no mouth, but can still make noises somehow, albeit they do sound very tinny.
Behavior & Diet
While not as social as Torz, Kryg are still very friendly. They're very calm, typically just drifting about unbothered by anything. They don't typically like to play, and are more content to watch—though a particularly energetic Kryg may join in.
Due to a lack of a mouth, they don't eat. Instead, they feed off of starlight, and can often be seen basking around at night.
