Grow-Up Guide
It’s finally time for your little Sunling to grow up!
Understanding this guide requires knowledge of the Standard Growing Up Guide. Please read over that one first before continuing!
Requirements
The requirements for growing up are the same as with Standard lytes!
Stances
Once you have those completed, it’s time to pick your stance! There is one category of stances, that being Flight, and there are 3 possible styles under it!
You are free to give your lyte different body types, just be sure to keep it recognizable as their given stance when checking with mods for approval!
Grown Sunlytes are able to fly using their wings freely!
Flight - Rooster
The Rooster Stance is probably the most bird-like of the Sunlyte stances! Their back is parallel with the ground, with only their head and legs staying upright. They often keep their wings near to their body, and their general face anatomy doesn’t change! This stance has 2 rows of 5 head feathers, and 2 large tail feathers.
Their more horizontal body structure allows for these lytes to be quite speedy and switch to flight very easily, which is very useful for navigating Unkiri comfortably.
Roosters are often found in speed or flight related jobs like deliverers, sports players, and more!
Flight - Harpy
The Harpy Stance is the most humanoid of the Sunlyte stances, as evident by its name! They have a slightly hunched body structure, and their winged arms are large enough to cover their entire body. They’re able to use their wings more like a regular hand compared to the others, and their general face anatomy doesn’t change! This stance has 2 rows of 3 head feathers, and 3 short tail feathers.
Harpies have the most vertical posture a Sunlyte can manage, still being more built for flying that walking. This stance has the most evenly spread abilities, but their wings always come in handy when traveling the scattered landscape of Unkiri!
Harpies are often found in standard or flight related jobs like performers, shopkeeps, etc!
Flight - Griffin
The Griffin Stance is the only quadruped Sunlyte stance! Their back is more slanted than other stances, with only their head and limbs keeping a more vertical posture. Griffins in particular are much more likely to be seen flying rather than walking due to the fact that their feathers are so close to the ground, and the fact that their wings seem to be the strongest . This stance has 2 rows of 4 head feathers and 5 thin tail feathers.
Griffins can most closely be related to the Tank Stance of Standard lytes, albeit a bit shorter. Much like the other Sunlyte stances, they have powerful arm wings that allow them to fly across the Unkirian landscape rather than walk it!
Griffins are often found in strength or flight related jobs like carpenters, guides, and so on!
Description
Now that you’ve chosen your stance, be sure to draw your lyte with their new body type!
An image of them as a lavaling and as an adult side by side should be included in your post to make the approval process easier.
If new ferroii are added, please be sure to specify clearly in the description as if it were any other post, and add it to both the lavaling and adult versions drawn.
The description form needed is the same as on the Standard Growing Up Guide!
Approval
The final step is to get your Sunlyte approved!
Create a forum post with the proper description filled in to give them an official date of approval! Once a forum post has been made, they will become an official adult!
Since we are an open species, you do not need to wait for a mod to approve your grow-up for it to be accepted! Be sure to update your tracker with each new approval, as keeping track of your current lytes will rely on you!

Now that your lyte is a full grown adult, they are able to partake in many more group functions such as earning Astrolyte-only ferroii, participating in certain events, and even fully learning magic!
