 Grow-Up Guide

It’s finally time for your little Nagaling to grow up!

Understanding this guide requires knowledge of the Standard Growing Up Guide. Please read over that one first before continuing!

[Standard Grow-Up Guide]

Requirements

The requirements for growing up are the same as with Standard lytes!

Stances

Once you have those completed, it’s time to pick your stance! There is one category of stances, that being Slither, and there are 3 possible styles under it!

You are free to give your lyte different body types, just be sure to keep it recognizable as their given stance when checking with mods for approval!

Nagalyte Anatomy

Slither - Beach

The Beach Stance is the largest of the Nagalyte stances, and the longest! Like all of the Nagalyte stances, they have a generally upright posture that curves forward and slowly curls into the rest of their long body and tail. Beaches have 3 nostrils / heat pits, and grow a pair of 2 long fangs alongside their forked tongue and slit pupil, which stay constant from their Lavaling forms! This stance has 1 neck gill, 1 body gill, and 1 gill on each wrist.

Beach's larger build proves useful for more strength-centered activities, and they tend to stick to the beaches and cities of Zima where they have more space to move around.

Beaches are often found in strength or endurance related jobs like carpenters, caregivers, and more!

Nagalyte Anatomy

Slither - Creek

The Creek Stance is a sort of medium for the Nagalyte stances, landing right in the middle in terms of size! Like all of the Nagalyte stances, they have a generally upright posture that curves forward and curls into the rest of their body and tail. Creeks have 2 nostrils / heat pits, and grow a pair of 2 short fangs alongside their forked tongue and slit pupil, which stay constant from their Lavaling forms! This stance has 3 neck gills, 3 body gills, and 2 gills on each wrist.

Their more average build allows them to easily practice a variety of jobs, and they can be found all across Zima.

Creeks are often found in everyday or detail related jobs like tailors, event runners, etc!

Nagalyte Anatomy

Slither - Dweller

The Dweller Stance is the smallest of the Nagalyte stances, and the shortest! Like all of the Nagalyte stances, they have a generally upright posture that curves forward and quickly curls into the rest of their short body and tail. Dwellers have 1 nostril / heat pit, and interestingly develop a dark sclera alongside their forked tongue and slit pupil, which stay constant from their Lavaling forms! This stance has 4 neck gills, 5 body gills, and 3 gills on each wrist.

Dweller's small build leads to lytes with this stance being much speedier, often living in the more crowded or wooded areas of Zima where they can weave easily between others.

Dwellers are often found in speed or efficiency related jobs like investigators, interviewers, and so on!

Description

Now that you’ve chosen your stance, be sure to draw your lyte with their new body type!
An image of them as a lavaling and as an adult side by side should be included in your post to make the approval process easier.

If new ferroii are added, please be sure to specify clearly in the description as if it were any other post, and add it to both the lavaling and adult versions drawn.

The description form needed is the same as on the Standard Growing Up Guide!

Approval

The final step is to get your Nagalyte approved!

Create a forum post with the proper description filled in to give them an official date of approval! Once a forum post has been made, they will become an official adult!

Since we are an open species, you do not need to wait for a mod to approve your grow-up for it to be accepted! Be sure to update your tracker with each new approval, as keeping track of your current lytes will rely on you!

Now that your lyte is a full grown adult, they are able to partake in many more group functions such as earning Astrolyte-only ferroii, participating in certain events, and even fully learning magic!

If you would like to check in, feel free to jump into our Discord! We have a specific channel called The Bakery that’s designed to help out with approvals!
